Here is a rare institute from one our humble colleagues from television journalism Vittala Bhat. It is ‘South Wood’ a learning institute for young aspirants before they come to the camera.

Vittala Bhat very silent and observant while he was in ETV for a few years he attended cinema assignments thought of a brilliant idea to groom the aspirants of cinema in a different way. The debutants who are about to face the camera can come here and take all sorts of training. The necessities of the film they have signed will be taught in this ‘South Wood’ in a nominal fee. It is the second branch of South Wood in South India. There is already one branch in Kurnool district, Adhavani of Andhra Pradesh.

For the persons who get chances accidentally to act in cinema they can first enroll. The directors and producers choose so and so get a rare opportunity for the quick knowledge for the need of the hour.

This ‘South Wood’ situated at No.3 Kanakalakshmi Krupa, Nagarabhavi Road near BDA Complex intends to give training of 40 to 50 days for already selected candidates for cinema. Besides this the regular training in acting and dance is also extended by Vittala Bhat, Balaji Reddy and Raju.

The second unit of ‘South Wood’ was inaugurated on Monday. Well known director Om Prakash Rao, Lahari Velu, Soundaraya Jagadish, Vishal Raj, Ravi Verma, media friends of Vittala Bhat were present.

Vittala Bhat trained under NJ Bikshu and Smt Aruna Bikshu has evolved this branch in Bengaluru. The South Wood Bengaluru branch has got five friends role youths to actor Ajay Rao in the forthcoming film of director Ravi Verma who directed ‘Sangama’ Kannada cinema.

Balaji Reddy associated with this ‘South Wood’ has the production house in coming July and make Kannada films.
