Son of Enagi Balappa aged 90 plus Enagi Nataraj aged 54, director of Rangayana Dharwad died today morning in Hubli. Enagi Nataraj has succumbed to tobacco and drinks say the closets. He leaves behind wife and two children. The body of Enagi Nataraj was kept at Rangayana Dharwad for a few hours in the morning.
Enagi Nataraj known for cunning roles in cinema was a lecturer in folk arts before taking up acting and direction. At 54 years he fulfilled the dream of his father Enagi Balappa. Giving life to Kaloddhara Sangha Nataraj directed the most popular play of the yesteryears ‘Jagajyothi Basaveshwara’ in front of his father. He also played a small role in it. Among plays Tadroopi and Natasarvabowma were very popular from Enagi Nataraj.
For ETV Kannada Enagi Nataraj directed ‘Mahanavami’ mega television serial and acted in television serials like Sankranthi, Naaku Thanthi and various others.
In cinema Enagi Nataraj acted in Neela, Sarvabowma, Suryakanthi, Mathe Mungaru and a few others.
