For the Karnataka Bundh on the Cauvery issue the Kannada Film Industry took part in huge attendance to register the protest of releasing water to Tamil Nadu.
The Kannada cinema industry all walks of personalities gathered at KFCC office around 11 am and went in a procession to Raj Bhavan to submit a memorandum in the afternoon. Ambarish, Shivarajakumar, Sudeep, Thara Anooradha, Jaggesh, Upendra, Upendra, KFCC President B Vijayakumar and others of KFC met the governor and explained the situation arising out of the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu when our farmers are suffering from drought and paucity of drinking water.
Among the speakers what super star Upendra said was pertinent. We should given injection to those who created problems. But we are taking injection. We should go to the leaders and ask for justice. Now we are facing problem for ourselves. This is wrong step. There is no point in stopping our people life for a day felt Upendra.
Actress Umasri who belongs to Congress I ruling party at the center said every time injustice is happening to Karnataka on Cauvery issue. Only when we are content they we can share our water. The recent happenings are very painful to every citizen of Karnataka she pointed.
Shivarajakumar super star of Kannada cinema in his address urged for peaceful protest. Jaggesh sitting MLC and politician it is a political conspiracy. The central government of Manmohan Singh to save its position sacrificed interests of Karnataka and get able support from Jayalalitha passed a wrong order stated Jaggesh.

Dwarakish, Dr Jayamala, Jayanthi, Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana, Puneeth Rajakumar, Vijay, Ganesh, Srujan Lokesh, Yash, Ravishanker, Anitha Rani, Umasri, Sudharani, Shruthi, Munirathna Naidu, Yogish, Kashinath, Premkumar and others were seen at the protest area on Saturday afternoon.
