We had ‘Navashakthi Vaibhava’ from director Om Saiprakash for producer B Jayasri Devi and now we have double power. It is 9 square to be precise. That is 18 Goddesses journey the film gives a new experience for the audience. That is ‘Adhi Parashakthi’ that went on the floor today at Ramana Maharshi School in JP Nagar Bangalore.

According to Hindu mythology ‘Adi Parashakthi’ is supreme power – creator, observer and destroyer of universe. The goddess Parvathi is ‘Adi Parashakthi’ with – Sattava, Rajas and Tamas qualities. Goddess is considered as true spirit, source of all other goddesses – referred as the power of ‘Para Brahman’.

With such supreme power of goddesses director Vemgal Jagannath Rao is showcasing the devotional film for producer Mahinder. Chalapathi has lent the story. It is social and religious in equal share. Vinayaprasad plays a devotee. Jai Jagadish does not believe in the power of God. Vemgal of films like Thulasidala in 1985 till ‘Chinnada Thaali’ has done various kinds of films. Devotional is a rare one for him. In two songs he is taking a trip to all the 18 places of Goddesses. It is moving in Dakshin Kannada and Uttar Kannada.

18 faces for Goddesses roles are required for this film ‘Adhi Parashakthi’.  There is a love track also in this film. According to Chalapathi there is social and devotional element in this film. For this ‘theist and atheist’ there is substance he says.

Actor Jai Jagadish remembered the days of ‘Bhumige Banda Bagavantha’ but said he gives only mental torture to Vinayaprakash character.

I feel it as a pride to travel all the 18 places of goddesses. It is time that I can also offers prayers pointed Vinayaprakash.
