‘I will see to it in one year time I am going to have a rocking time’ – this is Neethursi speaking. She is not getting married or bidding good bye to pick another profession in her career that is very conducive for her.

The ‘Langa and Dhavani’ two pony tail traditional looking Neethu was speaking to this correspondent after the launch of her ‘Aithalakadi’ Kannada film in which she plays the flower seller ‘Hoo Hudagi’ crazy about crazy star V.Ravichandran in the film. Firstly working with 75 plus ‘Ghatanu Ghatigalu’ is blessing for me feels Neethu and at the same take a look at her career prospects.

I have done an important guest appearance role in ‘Manasaare’ of eminent director Yogaraj Bhat and in ‘Krishna Nee Late Aagi Baaro…I have a very prominent role. By the time of release of these two films my II year MA in philosophy would be over and I will be in a position to look at things going in my profession in a very serious way says Neethu.

It is true that in the recession time everything is in low key. But working in films has given me great mileage. When I went with golden star Ganesh at Dasara festivities I got the equal respect and admiration from the people. The audience feels that I am appealing. To fill the purse even if I do one corporate show that would keep me self reliant inform Neethu.

Instead of my mother roaming thrice to get back my payment the corporate offers are meaty. I have worked for four of Birla Groups shows, Tetley Tea I have participated and event managers plus the famous music directors Gurukiran and Rajesh Ramanath shows I am quite busy and making good money too says Neethu. Neethu admits that films do not cover all the expenses she has to meet. It is only the stage shows and corporate shows that are putting her in comfort zone.

With all these standing and offers I feel that in one year I would reach the top. I do not want to become a star like Ramya or Rakshita – both are very fine in own ways. I want to have a strong foot hold with lot of attachment to performance of all kinds of roles says Neethu.

She has not accepted the offers coming from Tamil and Telugu and content with a few Malayalam films she had done. Neethu is not against to heroines coming from other states but at the same makes a point that most of such heroines could not stay long in Kannada.

On the issue of Ramya and media clash the intelligent actress Neethu maintained that we should know how to respect our elders.
