The prestigious Zee Kannada channel with chains in other languages has bought the satellite rights of magnum opus ‘KGF 2’ and the letter of agreement signed by producer Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films from ZEE TV head Raghavendra Hunsur on Friday.
Rocking star Yash, Sunil Dutt, Raveen Tandon and others starring the much expected film audio rights bought by Lahari Recording Company for a record price and now the satellite rights have gone to Zee Company. Zee 5 is of course the OTT house very popular today.
The Pan India cinema KGF 2 of Prashanth Neel directed Kannada, Telugu, Malayalama and Tamil satellite telecast in the kitty of Zee TV.
The hype of KGF 2 is so huge that OTT platforms are asking for Rs.250 to 400 crores for the exclusive rights of the film. The producer and team is hell bent on theatrical release of the film.
