The director of well-rated films `Harivu, Nathicharami and Act 1978` Mansore has come out with a very good idea at this crisis period. Looking at the sufferings of thousands of cinema and TV workers a great thought has come to the mind of national acclaimed director Mansore alias Manjunatha Somakeshava Reddy.
In a letter sent to media persons, director Mansore urged the government of India to cancel this year`s International Film Festival and utilize the allocated funds by providing financial help to meet livelihood to thousands of cinema workers in the country.
It is a fine thought from the nationally acclaimed director Mansore. If this is approved then it would be applicable for other film festivals held all over.
Another appreciable factor from director Mansore is that he had sent the ACT 1978 Kannada film to the competition section of this year`s International Film Festival to be held in Goa.
